I'm Clarissa, an enthusiastic baker of natural fermentation who wants to transform lives through learning to bake bread. In other words, I want to leaven people's lives.
When I arrived in Holland, I founded a blog, the Bailandesa.nl. Hence the name Baila Bakes. I worked for many years with marketing and business, but bread and cooking have always been part of my life. In recent years, I have worked in the Tourism area and, with the pandemic, I had to reinvent myself professionally. It was the moment when I saw that the passion for bread and the knowledge had been there all along.
I want to teach and inspire people to bake real bread. Learning a new skill also restores your self-confidence and renews your self-esteem. It happened to me and it will happen to you. I want to teach you how to make pure and healthy bread, but I also want to show you what you are capable of.
