Esse gr\u00e3o ancestral, parente distante do trigo moderno, tem um sabor suave, levemente adocicado e um toque amendoado que eu adoro combinar com outras farinhas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dessa vez, resolvi testar uma mistura com 25% de farinha integral de khorasan org\u00e2nico e 75% de Manitoba \u2014 uma farinha forte, ideal para p\u00e3es de fermenta\u00e7\u00e3o longa. O resultado foi um p\u00e3o com casca crocante, miolo leve e um sabor elegante e diferente. Ele chegou ao Ocidente de forma curiosa: por volta de 1940, um piloto americano levou alguns gr\u00e3os do Egito para os Estados Unidos. Mais tarde, uma fam\u00edlia de agricultores americanos passou a cultiv\u00e1-lo organicamente e registrou a marca <strong>Kamut\u00ae<\/strong>, que hoje \u00e9 a vers\u00e3o comercial mais conhecida do khorasan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Embora o gr\u00e3o seja milenar, o nome Kamut\u00ae \u00e9 patenteado.
